Hi there, I’m Ken.

I’m a film, documentary and commercial director based out of Toronto, ON (available worldwide) who has worked with brands like Porsche, Volkswagen, VinFast, and Michelin Guide (and I still do!). You might be wondering, you make commercials and films, so why weddings?

It started at a destination wedding where I was just a guest. Tiffany and Chris, the couple, had worked so hard to bring everyone together. But on the day, I watched them juggle logistics and direct their own group photos while the photographer stood by. I couldn’t help myself. I stepped in to help. Luckily, I had my film camera on me, the one I always carry to capture family moments. That day was the quiet beginning of sunday somewhere studios.

Seeing how relieved and genuinely happy Chris and Tiff were when they saw those photos sparked something in me. That year, my partner Rebecca and I found ourselves attending many of our of friends and family’s weddings. We kept asking, who would we trust to capture our wedding when it’s our turn?

We eventually thought, why don’t we capture other people’s wedding exactly the way we would like ours to be captured? Intimate, real and artful with a touch of expertise from an award winning director might I add (hehe). Weddings are very special to both Rebecca (my lovely partner) and I. It was at Rebecca’s best friend’s wedding where we held hands for the first time. So outside of my full time directing work, I love connecting with real people, celebrating love, and capturing moments that last a lifetime.
